We’re seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our EPC team. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in cost control, cost estimation, and commercial management within the construction, engineering, or oil & gas industries. The Cost Controller will ensure accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting, supporting project profitability.
Missions
1. Develop and maintain project cost control systems, processes, and procedures.
2. Establish and track project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
3. Analyze and report project costs, identifying areas for cost optimization.
4. Conduct regular cost reviews with project teams and stakeholders.
5. Develop and maintain cost databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
7. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
8. Identify and mitigate potential cost risks and opportunities.
9. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
10. Provide commercial support for project proposals and tenders.
Profil
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 5-7 years of experience in cost control, estimation, or commercial management.
3. Experience in EPC, construction, or oil & gas industries.
4. Strong knowledge of cost control principles, accounting standards, and commercial practices.
5. Proficient in cost management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics).
6. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Professional certification (e.g., CCP, CMA, CFA).
2. Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
3. Knowledge of contract management and procurement processes.
4. Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
5. Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
